Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner over designated routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) issued in the United States.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the past three years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and pass a drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
