Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over long-haul distances.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload freight accurately while maintaining cargo integrity.
- Keep accurate logbooks and maintain up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to undergo paid training and mentorship programs.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
