Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul deliveries across the continental US
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of trips, inspections, and deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and timely deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and maintain schedules
- Represent Global Transport Solutions with professionalism and integrity at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch
- Flexibility to work irregular schedules and overnight travel
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Willingness to cross-train in specialized freight handling if required
