Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft Box Truck to transport freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery manifests and obtain electronic proof of delivery (POD).
- Maintain accurate daily logs and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and shippers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class B is acceptable for 26ft box trucks).
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
