Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver freight safely and on time to maintain our 100% on-time delivery record.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Handle all necessary paperwork, including Bill of Lading (BOL), delivery receipts, and PODs, with 100% accuracy.
- Interact professionally with customers, drivers, and dock personnel at pickup and delivery points.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Own or have access to a reliable Box Truck (14ft, 16ft, or 26ft).
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience in local or regional truck driving.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
- Ability to read maps, use GPS navigation, and plan efficient routes.
- Familiarity with cargo securement and loading techniques.
