Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently across assigned routes in the Plano, TX area.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo protection and compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area, adhering to company image standards.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Ownership: Must own or lease a box truck (20ft-26ft preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A or B driving experience.
- License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Documentation: Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT compliant insurance.
- Equipment: Truck must be well-maintained, GPS equipped, and meet safety regulations.
- Availability: Reliable availability to work assigned shifts and meet delivery deadlines.
