Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes throughout the Phoenix metro area.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of log books, traffic laws, and safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for paperwork and communication.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving cargo, as well as sitting for extended periods.
