Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight securely, adhering to weight distribution standards.
- Manage all necessary documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD) and bills of lading.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11 PM - 7 AM) and maintain alertness.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of navigation systems and interstate regulations.
