Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) over long distances (OTR) and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logs (DVIR, ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
