Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances in all weather conditions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing mechanisms.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR preferred).
- Current DOT medical card and valid DOT physical.
- Excellent driving record with no DUI, reckless driving, or serious moving violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions during loading/unloading.
