Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long-distance routes (OTR) on a dedicated schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support teams.
- Uphold a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must possess a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
- Willingness to undergo paid training if no prior OTR driving experience is held.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling cargo of varying weights.
