Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding shipment status and delays
- Secure and verify cargo before transit
- Represent Midwest Transport Solutions professionally with clients
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- No CDL required - we provide paid training!
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to travel overnight (home time guaranteed)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD apps
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
- Reliable transportation to our Fort Wayne terminal
