Responsibilities
- Safe Transportation: Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities along designated routes and stops.
- Safety Enforcement: Ensure all students adhere to safety rules while boarding, riding, and exiting the bus.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is clean, mechanically sound, and safe for operation.
- Route Adherence: Follow strict schedules and routes to ensure students arrive at school on time.
- Student Supervision: Monitor student behavior to maintain a secure environment and assist with minor disciplinary issues.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and dispatch regarding delays or incidents.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must have a valid driver's license; CDL Class B training provided upon hire.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Must be physically able to lift children, stand for extended periods, and handle emergency situations.
- Driving Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major infractions.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
