Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment for all passengers.
- Enforce safety rules and manage student behavior during transit.
- Follow strict traffic laws, routes, and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school administration regarding delays or issues.
- Secure the bus and assist passengers during loading and unloading.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must hold a CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement (or be willing to obtain one through our training program).
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Health: Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- No Experience Required: Prior driving experience is not mandatory; we look for the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with children and parents.
