Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of buses and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district safety protocols
- Monitor student behavior and ensure a positive environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports as required
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided!
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (Class C)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus endorsement
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and child abuse clearance
