Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with parents, students, and school staff
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports
- Participate in ongoing safety training and recertification
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license (minimum 1 year)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with school bus endorsement
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Physical ability to assist students with mobility needs
- Flexible availability (early morning/afternoon shifts)
- No prior commercial driving experience required
