Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight within the region and across state lines.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution standards.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A is required.
- Willingness to undergo paid training for entry-level drivers.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
