Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across designated routes using company-provided equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (ELD) per FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Represent Phoenix Transport Solutions with professional conduct at all customer locations
- Adhere to all DOT safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status and potential delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (we provide training if unlicensed)
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of GPS navigation technology
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
