Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles over long distances (Over-The-Road).
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered intact and on time.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and federal DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery details.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be away from home for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a high commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for weight and distance calculations.
