Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely.
- Maintain accurate logs (Eld/Elogs) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, but candidates with a valid license and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record and a commitment to safety.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to travel (Over the Road) and adapt to varying schedules.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems.
