Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route status and delays
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional interactions
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills or willingness to learn GPS systems
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights/weekends
- No prior trucking experience required – we train!
