Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Desert Star Transport professionally at all times
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one through our training program
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel overnight and work flexible schedules
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be at least 21 years old
