Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries across Ohio and surrounding states
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging systems (ELD) compliance
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs to fleet management
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-sensitive and oversized loads
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during dock interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with variable schedules
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- No major moving violations in the past 3 years
