Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes between Indianapolis, IN, and Illinois
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance records
- Optimize delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Represent our company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road trucking experience
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Midwest road networks and regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
