Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries across Indiana/Illinois routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments
- Handle freight documentation and secure cargo properly
- Perform basic preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
