Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local/regional routes during overnight shifts
- Accurately complete electronic logging systems and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Transport diverse freight including temperature-controlled goods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
