Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) during overnight shifts
- Transport freight between Jacksonville, FL and Georgia distribution centers
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Coordinate with dispatchers for loading/unloading schedules
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic logging
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight shifts (10-12 hour shifts)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Georgia route experience preferred
