Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated overnight routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient delivery scheduling
- Handle secure freight with proper documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers and warehouse staff
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years over-the-road experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and Northeast corridor
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
