Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated overnight routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain precise time logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage secure cargo handling and documentation protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Maintain clean DOT-compliant vehicle interiors
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour overnight shifts
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
