Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across the Southeastern US corridor
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation of shipments
- Maintain professional communication with clients and team members
- Uphold Swift's safety standards and zero-accident culture
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overnight routes
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed transport preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
