Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) during overnight shifts
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to designated locations within the Seattle metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of Seattle area roads and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
