Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on nighttime routes throughout the Seattle metropolitan area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage precise delivery schedules and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records
- Respond professionally to on-road challenges and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently overnight (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Familiarity with Seattle traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
