Job Summary
As a Night Shift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the region. You will play a crucial role in keeping our supply chain moving efficiently during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL required) to deliver freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
- Log driving hours and delivery records accurately in the Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to company dress codes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding delays or issues.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
