Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of high-value freight
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS systems for real-time navigation and tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area roadways and regulations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in diverse weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
