Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL required) for overnight freight transport
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient routes using GPS and dispatch systems
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route updates and delivery confirmations
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Availability for overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 6 AM)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with San Antonio metro area and Texas highways
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Pass background check and drug screening
