Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the Southwest
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient overnight routes to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Secure cargo according to DOT standards
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts
- Knowledge of Hazmat regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
