Your Mission:
As a Night Shift Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight across the East Coast efficiently and safely. We pride ourselves on on-time deliveries and maintaining a 5-star safety rating.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on highways and local roads during night shift hours.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight per DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required (Clean driving record/MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and bending.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
