Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using proper equipment.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and local traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (regional or local preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Strong understanding of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
