Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently during assigned night shifts.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and logs (ELD) per FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card (Required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Clean driving record required).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and cargo securement.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
