Your Role
As a Night Shift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the Southeast. We value professionalism and expect our drivers to represent the brand with excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer (Class A CDL) to transport cargo safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution is correct and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Navigate routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and road maps to avoid delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM or similar) consistently.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle safety standards and inspection procedures.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
