Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery across the Nashville metropolitan area
- Maintain meticulous pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Utilize advanced GPS routing systems to optimize delivery schedules and minimize transit times
- Complete accurate electronic logging and delivery documentation using our proprietary fleet management software
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions and communicate delivery status updates
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols during all operations
- Represent Nashville Logistics Solutions with professionalism during client interactions and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and basic navigation technology
- Strong time management skills for strict overnight delivery windows
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions

- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
