Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) during night hours.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Navigate LA traffic and local routes using GPS and maps, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding traffic conditions and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (night shift preferred).
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing duties in varying weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols.
