Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Secure cargo loads according to FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and maintain high on-time performance rates.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and any potential issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab, ensuring the vehicle is presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to represent the company professionally.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
