Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight deliveries across Indiana and surrounding regions
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery coordination
- Load/unload freight with proper material handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Flexible schedule availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
