Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight freight delivery across Indiana region
- Perform rigorous pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while maintaining fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven night shift logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and Indiana highways
- Pass criminal background check and random drug screenings
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
