Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Deliver freight to designated stops on time and in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic, delays, and delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in flatbed or dry van preferred.
