Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight to designated locations within Houston metro area and regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety standards
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays
- Maintain clean and organized cab environment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability and willingness to work weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding highways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
