Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during night operations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system records
- Coordinate with dispatch for route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Ensure secure loading and unloading of freight at client locations
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Pass mandatory DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
