Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries within NYC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and delivery restrictions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into truck cabs
- Pass background check and drug screening
