Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on designated routes within the US.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and dock personnel regarding schedules and delays.
- Ensure the truck is kept clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Valid DOT Medical Card on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
